Summertime sadness

[EN]   I wish I could skip summer. I don't know why but it is so depressing for me. Nothing ever happens and is so damn hot!
I am more a winter or autumn person.
If you woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning  and try to go to market for fresh fruits or vegetables is so hot and the fruits aren't fresh at all... You try to get some Sun, but before you know it is 11 o'clock and everything is burning around you... And the summer nights... they are so hot and wet, you can't sleep, you can't breath...

But the bright side is that we are still in May and we have a little bit more time to enjoy this late spring!

About this outfit: this is a summer dress that I used to love, but somehow it doesn't feet my personality any more so I've decided to sell it on my blog.

I was wearing H&M dress, Mango jacket and clutch, and Steve Madden wedges!

Simple as Black&White

[EN]    Have you ever manage something you do not understand? It's difficult, isn't it? But what about manage people that you don't understand? Are you trying to change them or accept them as they are? It's impossible to understand every single people on this planet, or every action they take. You just have to accept the fact that people are different and if you want someone next to you, you'll have to accept him/her as he/she is and not try to change that person because you don't understand him/her. Just accept her/him and let her/him be. As simple as black on white. Don't make it grey.

I was wearing Zara shorts and shirt, Sisley bag and custom made shoes.

Daca am accepta faptul ca fiecare este unic in spirit si gandire am trai in armonie .

Home town!

[EN]  This year I spent the Easter holiday with my family in my home town Drobeta-Turnu Severin. It is a small town on the Danube bank. Now is more a touristic destination  for those of us who wanna know more about Dacian and Roman history.

The city, which was called Drobeta by the Romans, took its name of Turnu Severin (meaning the Tower of Severus) from a tower on the north bank of the Danube built by the Byzantines. The tower stood on a small hill surrounded by a deep moat. Near Turnu Severin are the remains of the celebrated Trajan's Bridge, the largest in the Empire. Here, the Danube is about 1,200 metres (4,000 feet) broad. Built in only three years (103–105 AD) by the famous architect Apollodorus of Damascus, the bridge was considered the most daring work in the Roman world. The bridge was built on 20 pillars of stone blocks, was 1135 m long, 14.55 m wide and 18.60 m high. Each bridge head had its own portal monument, whose remains can still be seen on both sides of the Danube. Oaks from 200 hectares of forest were used for the wooden parts of the construction. The bridge was composed of twenty arches supported by stone pillars. Only two of them are still visible at low tide.

Maybe I'll tell you more about it some day because there is, certainly, more to say !

Enjoy the pictures!

The theater: when I was little I used to think that this is a castle.

I think this is the largest fountain in the country! It is spectacular. You have to see it to appreciate it.

The unknown soldier's memorial at the entrance of the Roses park.

Danube Gorge, the way in and out the town. (From the west side). It is the most spectacular view in the country if you ask me, and it goes like this for miles and miles.  I still think that this is the most beautiful region in the country. Maybe I am subjective but from what I've seen this is my favorite (except the Danube delta I've seen pretty much all) .

[EN]   So... no more presents until winter... No Santa, no Bunny,  no St. Nicholas, no birthdays no nothing. It's over.
Some people say that you don't have to have a certain day for giving someone a present but let me ask you when was your last time you surprise your boyfriend or mom or sister or girlfriend for no reason? When was the last time you bought a gift just because you thought someone would appreciate it?

I used to make a lot of surprises for people around me for no reason but not anymore... I don't know why... Maybe I realized they don't appreciate them or me, or my effort. They used to think they deserve everything, and my effort and energy too. So now it's my time to wait around and be surprised!

Thank you KK Photography for this vibrant shots!

I was wearing Pepe Jeans white jeans, trifted blouse, Pour La Victoire shoes and Benvenuti clutch!

Happy Easter!

What to wear !

[EN] I made up three outfits for this special occasion, Easter lunch. Depending on your taste and dressing code here are three dresses that I'd love to own along with the accessories!

The spirit of Easter is all about hope, love and joyful living! Happy Easter.

1.    This is a very beautiful dress. It is casual, easy to wear and the ruffles are so feminine and delicate! Wear it with these beautiful Louboutin shoes and you defensibly be noticed!

2.    This TopShop glamorous dress makes me think about  May summer nights. Wear it with statement shoes and be a star in that night.

3.    And my third proposal is a B&W outhit. This structural dress will make you look sophisticated. You'll have to have some attitude if you wanna wear this dress, otherwise it may seem that the dress is wearing you. Pair it with Manolo Mary Jane's for class all the way.
